Today’s Breakfast: breakfast bagel, fruit, juice, and milk

Today’s Lunch: Chili, cornbread, carrots and dip, fresh and canned fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s Breakfast: pancake on a stick, fruit, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch: Meatballs, baked potato, tea buns, mixed vegetables, canned and fresh fruit, and milk

Snow is coming!!  Students please start bringing your hats, gloves, boots, and snow pants.

Student:  Please take the time to check the lost and found to claim your lost items.  The table is getting full.

For Sale by Groton Area Cheerleaders: Hats- $10, Headbands- $8, and Lanyards- $2.  Flyers are available in the main door entranceway.

Yearbooks are now on sale.  They will be $50.00 for the book – $5.00 for personalization and $3.00 for any icons they would like on there as well.  This price will be good until January 8th (End of first Semester).  After that – the price goes up!!!

It is that time of year again that 5th grade needs 2 liter pop bottles. If you use 2 liter bottles over the next few weeks please save them for Mrs. Hendrickson. The Pepsi ones work the best, but will also take coke.

There will be a meeting for all JK-5th grade girls interesting in joining girl scouts on December 7th at 6:00 in the elementary music room.  Flyers are posted at the entrance of the school.

OST is selling Groton Area t-shirts and sweatshirts.  Forms are due back on December 3rd.

Today’s Lunch: Hamburger, French fries, carrots, fresh and canned fruit, and milk

Tomorrow’s Breakfast: French toast, links, fruit, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch:  stuff crust pizza, green beans, fresh and canned fruit, vegetable tray, and milk.

Today’s Lunch: Turkey dinner, mashed potatoes, corn, dressing, pumpkin desert, and milk.

Tomorrow’s Breakfast: cinnamon roll, fruit, yogurt, juice, and milk 

Tomorrow’s Lunch:  wrap ‘n’ roll joe cheezer, tri tater, fresh and canned fruit, broccoli, and milk

On Friday, November 20, I encourage you to celebrate with the elementary students by wearing your college, technical school, military, or Groton Area attire. Perhaps this is your first or fifth career or a career you never thought you would be doing…whatever the case may be please know you are sincerely appreciated for all that you bring to the Groton Area Elementary.

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:  egg and cheese omelet, fruit, juice and milk

Today’s Lunch: chicken nuggets, tater tots, carrots, fresh and canned fruit, and milk
Tomorrow’s Breakfast: cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, and fruit
Tomorrow’s Lunch: beef stew, biscuits, romaine salad, fresh and canned fruit, and milk

There will be an Elementary PAC meeting tonight at 6:30 here at the elementary school.

I want to thank both teachers and parents for a great turnout on Thursday for conferences.

Today’s Breakfast: BREAKFAST BAGEL, FRUIT JUICE, MILK

Today’s Lunch: HOT DOGS, BAKED BEANS, CARROTS, AND DIP FRESH/CANNED FRUIT

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:  pancake on a stick, fruit, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch: chicken nuggets, tater tots, carrots, fresh and canned fruit, and milk

School will dismiss at 1:00 and conferences will start at 1:30.

There will be OST today from 1:00-6:00

No homework help after school on Wednesday or Thursday.

Lunch Schedule for Thursday:  Please plan accordingly.

KG, 1st, and 2nd will eat from 11:00-11:25 and have recess from 11:20-11:45

3rd, 4th and 5th will eat from 11:25-11:50 and have recess from 11:45-:12:05

The Methodist Church will be serving teachers diner around 5:00 during conferences.

No School on Friday.

Today’s Lunch: Bar-B-Qu, sweet potatoes, lettuce, fresh and canned fruit, and milk

Tomorrow’s Breakfast: French toast, links, fruit, juice, and milk 

Tomorrow’s Lunch: Cheese Pizza, green beans, broccoli, fresh and canned fruit, and milk

Veterans Day Activities:

  1. Breakfast starting at 7:30 am
  2. Veterans Day Program starting at 2:00.
  3. Students will begin loading busses at 1:40 and dismiss from the High School after the program.
  4. OST students will return to elementary.

Thursday:  School will dismiss at 1:00 and conferences will start at 1:30.

There will be OST on Thursday from 1:00-6:00

No homework help after school on Wednesday or Thursday.

Today’s Lunch: Spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans, garlic toast, romaine salad, and milk

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:  cinnamon roll, fruit, yogurt, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch:  Chicken noodle soup, turkey sandwich, carrots, fresh and canned fruit, and milk

Students:  Due the increased amounts of office visits due to injuries, I ask that students no longer play dodge ball along the wall.

Student and Parents:  Please take the time to view the Winter Weather Preparedness Guide developed by South Dakota Department of Public Safety at www.oem.sd.gov.

Girls Basketball Players: Make sure you put away the balls and clean up after evening basketball practices.

There will be no elementary girls’ basketball practices tonight due to the football game.
