Today’s Breakfast: French toast sticks, sausage links, fruit/juice, and milk

Today’s Lunch: meatballs, tiny potato, green peas, breadsticks, fresh and canned fruit, and milk

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:  breakfast bagels, fruit, juice, and mil

Tomorrow’s Lunch: Halloween nuggets, sweet tots, fresh and canned fruit, romaine salad, and milk

Teachers:  Reminder that 3rd grade will be using the gym tomorrow from 9:30-10:00.

Report Cards will be printed and ready to be sent home on Friday.

Student and Parents:  Please take the time to view the Winter Weather Preparedness Guide developed by South Dakota Department of Public Safety at www.oem.sd.gov.

Students:  We will be having a short assembly on Friday at 3:05 for our Kindle drawing from last year’s Smarter Balanced Testing.

Picture retakes will be on November 3rd.

Girls:  Please take the time to have your parents read through the Girl Scout flyer that was sent home.  If we receive enough feedback we will try to have an organized meeting with a representative from Girl Scouts.

The Golden Living Center and Lions Club will be sponsoring a Trick or Treat Party at the Golden Living Center Oct. 31 from 6:-7:30.  All are welcome.

Community trunk or treat Saturday from 4 to 6 in the Methodist church parking lot.  Concessions available too.

Teachers:  The grading window is now closed.  Please let me know if you need to post any other grades.  Report Cards will be printed and ready to be sent home on Friday.

Today’s Lunch Turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, tea bun, fresh and canned fruit, and milk

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:  Cinnamon roll, yogurt, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch:  Chili, cornbread, fresh and canned fruit, carrots and dip, and milk

Students:  Remember to take your SchoolStore packets home today and register with your parents.  If you bring back your “Student Participation Confirmation” slip you will be eligible for a drawing to win “Joe bot” who will be located in the gym today.  This fundraiser is sponsored by Elementary PAC to help purchase new playground equipment.

Tomorrow’s Breakfast: Cinnamon roll, yogurt, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch: lasagna hot dish, romaine salad, corn, tea bun, fresh and canned fruit, and milk

Students:  It is now that time of year to be wearing warmer clothing.  Please be mindful of the cold weather especially in the morning and wear appropriate gear.

Picture retakes will be one November 3rd.

Tomorrow’s Lunch: Bar-BQ, French fries, fresh and canned fruit, carrots, and milk

Teachers:  Please email the OST list to Mr. Schwan today. Both Mrs. Kyar and Mrs. Weber are not here.

Student:  If you are attending the football game today, remember to keep your footballs at home.  You are not allowed behind the bleachers.  The purpose of the football game is to sit in the stands and cheer on the Groton Tigers!

We will be having a normal lunch schedule today.  Teachers will be on their own for recess in the morning due to the marching band festival.  Lunch and afternoon recesses will be normal.

Teachers:  Please let me know if you do not have a key for your classroom door.  I sent out an email yesterday asking that you please lock your doors due to elementary basketball practices at night, and came to realize that a number of you do not have keys.
